Julep getting stale?
Weather.com lucked out, an awesome rainless night gave way for a great car meet turnout. It seems that more and more people are going to MC on Thursdays, this night was proof that there will be more fun here than the Police infested Julep.

The following was posted on a montrealracing.com thread.

We weren't the only ones that feared being locked out of the Julep, we got there early before 8pm, and there were quite a few cars there, including some usuals. However, something bothered me, it felt uncomfortable seeing bouncers lay out the orange pylons, and the usualy cops across at the Petro Canada gas station. The Julep suddenly felt stale, almost rotton. It was a sick feeling and we decided to take off and head to MC just minutes after. There was only a small crowd at MC at 8:30p, but it looked like a whole buddy meet gathering, unlike the lost souls that roam the realms of the Julep. As the sun dropped and the dusk set in, cars began rolling in, lightful after lightful. Already a good handful of Neons present, the J-Body club from the Julep joined over at the MC, as well as many others that were gliding thru the Julep earlier. By the dark, MC was crowded, some cars even overflowed into the empty Reno-Depot lots, to avoid the crowd. Still not a single cop car was to be seen. Eye catchers was a black mustang with the front skinnies and the rear drags, a real red Ferrari, and the numbers of 1/8 mile sprints along the spline of the lot. It's good to see the MC popular like this, because it just shows how much the Julep sucks. Around 10:15p the first police vehicle came about. But that wasn't what made us split. It was the bunch of Transports Quebec trucks that followed in after. Already in Toronto, the Ministry of Transportation are blocking up shopping mall car meets, so all cars can only leave thru one exit, where anything not stock will get a ticket. How will next week be, just before the Nappy Car Fever?

Orange Julep Montreal, is located on the Decarie/15, near exit Jean-Talon. Julep Thursdays start usually around 8:30p, and end off at 10:30p. Moderate rain will cancel the event.

LaFleurs West Island, is located on desSources South, off the Metropolitan 40 West. Thursday LaFleurs is supposed to start 9:00p. People tend to stay late, well into nidnite. Moderate rain will cancel the event.
